This is a second hand Browning B425 Esprit 12ga Game gun with 28” barrels choked at 1/4 & 3/4 – a gun that was imported in relatively low numbers back in the early 2000’s (this gun was produced in 2001). The unusual feature this model had over a standard B425 game Gun was that the normal pistol grip was replaced by the ‘swan neck‘ or ‘roach belly‘ stock normally associated with the handmade Belgian B25 game guns – This will appeal to people more used to using side by sides. This is a gun that would be perfect for shooting driven game locally, the 28” barrels give the gun lively handling characteristics.
The overall condition is excellent. Even though this gun is 17 years old the action remains very tight, the woodwork is clean and tidy and the bores are clean and tidy. The fun appears to have seen light use over the years. We even have the original plastic box.
