Description
This is a second Beretta Silver Pigeon Sporter with 30″ multi choke barrels – a gun that is a year or two old (we sold it brand new in 2000) but the previous owner hasn’t used it particularly heavily over the years and looked after it well meaning the overall condition is very good. The action has seen light use opening and closing nicely without feeling loose, the woodwork is in very clean and tidy condition as are the barrels both inside and out. The previous owner had the comb lowered by a local gunsmith and then found it was a little low a few years later so he added a stick on comb raiser – I have left it on for now but it could be removed if need be. It would make a good choice for both clay or game shooting being light enough to be carried around a game field but with enough weight to help absorb some recoil on larger volumes of cartridges.
