Description
This is a second-hand Beretta 687 Silver Pigeon S 20gauge with 30″ fixed choke field barrels (6mm rib choked 1/4 & 1/2) – a great choice for an all-round gun being suitable for either driven game shooting locally, pigeon shooting, wildfowling or even the odd clay. This particular gun is a year or two old, but this isn’t an issue with a Beretta because the action has a proven track record for durability and longevity.
The overall condition is good – the game scene engraved action has seen some use without being loose- it opens and closes smoothly. The woodwork is well figured for the grade and in generally tidy condition. The stock has been shortened slightly now finishing at 14 1/2″ including a Beretta microcore pad. The barrel condition is clean inside and externally the blueing is good.
