Description
This is a Beretta 682 silver action sporter with 28″ multi choke barrels – a gun made back in the 80’s but a really sought after and iconic model which helped to launch Beretta as a brand in the mainstream competition shooting world. These are very solid guns that have stood the test of time with regards strength, durabiltiy and reliability. Although this is a reasonably heavy gun the handling remains fast because the balance is so good. The weight helps to absorb some recoil making this gun a suitable choice for general clay shooting or field work too.
The overall condition is good considering the age. The action remains tight and solid (the top lever is right of centre), the well figured woodwork is in good condition too. The original pad has been changed to a thicker ventilated rubber pad pushing the LOP to 14 7/8″. The barrels are clean internally although there are a couple of small thin patches in the blueing at the muzzle end.
