Description
This is a second hand and tidy Browning B725 Grade 5 Sporter with 30″ multi choke barrels – a very pretty gun to look at with an attractive deep relief scroll engraving and highly figured grade 5 Turkish walnut. The well proportioned left handed stock has a comfortable palm swell and is finished with the Inflex recoil pad for comfortable shooting – it has been shortened slightly from original now finishing at 14 1/2″ including a thin Inflex recoil pad. It could be extended by a gunsmith easily enough. The action remains tight having seen relatively light use, the woodwork is in clean and tidy condition as are the barrels.
The overall balance and handling is very good and perfect for shooting ‘sporting’ clays but it would also be suitable for other disciplines or even for game shooting on the peg too. The gun is designed to shoot large numbers of cartridges comfortably – it has enough weight to absorb some recoil, the barrels are back bored to allow more pressure forward leading to less recoil backward and the recoil pad is designed to absorb recoil too.
This gun comes in a lockable gun case with a set of 5 multi chokes.
