The Silver Pigeon 1 has all the best features from Beretta without the pricetag. Optima HP bore barrels shoot smoothly and handle well, fitted with flush fitting Optima HP chokes which pattern superbly, fitted to an action proven for strength and durability – with a stock that has dimensions to suit most shooters. Easy to see why the gun has been so successful. This is a great all-round gun that would happily shoot both clays and game.
This particular gun was produced in 2018; it appears to have been used relatively lightly over the years and has been well maintained at the same time – the overall condition is very good. The action is tight, and the woodwork is in clean and tidy condition apart from an odd small mark or two. The 30″ sporting multi choke barrels are clean inside and out. It would make a good choice for both clay and game shooting being light enough to be carried around a game field but with enough weight to help absorb some recoil on larger volumes of cartridges.
