Description
This is a fantastic looking and handling pair of guns. The longer 32″ barrels on the 20 gauge MK60 High Pheasant’s really add enough weight at the front end to steady the whole swing down and increase pointability on those high pheasants and partridges; it would even be suitable for a few clays. The action on the MK60 Grade 5 are heavily scroll engraved, the grade 5 woodwork is nicely figured and well proportioned – the previous owner has had Kickeez pads fitted reducing the LOP slightly to now finish at 14 7/8″. The chokes on the guns were originally fixed at 3/4 & Full but they have been opened up to a much more useful 1/4 & 1/2 (work carried out by Teague chokes). If need be you could even get them multi choked for approx £450-500 per gun.
These were produced as a factory pair in 2015 and purchased brand new in 2017. They have consecutive serial numbers and are numbered I & II in gold on the rib, top lever and forend. The overall condition is very good, they have been used but not excessively opening and closing nicely. The woodwork isn’t unmarked but any marks are very light, the barrels are clean both internally and externally.
Supplied in a nice brown suede double leather case.
Part exchange welcome.
