Description
This is a second hand but very lightly used Fabarm XLR Composite AB 12ga with a 28″ multi choke barrel. A gun that would make a great choice for either clay shooting or for field shooting – in particular pigeons or other vermin such as crows, rabbits or rats. Fabarm proof their barrels and chokes beyond fleur-de-lys allowing the use of steel shot through every choke in the set right up to full.
The gun has a good looking although relatively plain black action. The handling is excellent it really does point well and balance is good as well. There is enough weight in the gun to make the gun shoot steady and smoothly by absorbing some recoil making this suitable for larger numbers of cartridges on a busy day. The overall condition is excellent because it has literally fired 250 cartridges – the previous owner maintained the gun very well meaning the internal working parts are clean and tidy too.
