Description
This is a second hand Browning B425 Waterfowl with 28″ multi choke barrels that are chambered for 3″ steel shot. Made back in the 90’s it was a gun designed for wildfowling or pigeon shooting. The weight was always slightly towards the front end on the B425’s this actually helps to maintain the swing on longer shots.
The overall condition is reasonable. it has been used a fair amount but the action remains tight, the woodwork has some marks but nothing major – the stock length has been reduced from 15″ to 13 3/4″ including a thin plastic pad. It would be easy for a gunsmith to fit a rubber pad to extend the stock. The bores are clean and tidy. Externally the blueing has thinned a touch at the muzzle end.
We have a couple of chokes with this gun they are 1/4 & 1/2.
Part exchange welcome.
