Description
This is a second hand Browning B25 D5G 12ga Game gun with 28″ barrels choked at 1/4 & 5/8. The B25 range of guns were handmade in Belgium to a very high standard and remain a sought after gun for the cabinet. This is a gun that would make an ideal choice for local driven game shooting, the handling characteristics are very lively and the overall weight will help absorb some recoil. The top barrel has been opened up from the original 3/4 by 5′ so it is now 25′ or 5/8 – a perfect choke for driven game.
The overall condition is good for the age – the attractive deep scroll engraved action is nice and tight; the woodwork is in very good condition, it has been reduced to 14 1/2″ including a solid Browning plastic recoil pad. Internally the bores are clean and tidy and externally the barrel blueing is good apart from the very end of the barrels where it has worn a little thin.
