Description
This is a second hand Beretta 687 Silver Pigeon III Limited Edition 12ga game gun with 28″ multi choke barrels. It is gun number 287 from a limited run of 500 of this particular model made in the 2000’s which featured a different engraving style to other SP3 models with a slightly different overall finish to the action (not as bright or shiny). The woodwork was also upgraded – this one is particularly well figured with a nice dark colouration with dark grain running throughout the stock and forend. It is very tidy with only a few very small marks, the action is very tight having seen very little use over the years.
This is a gun that would make a great all rounder being suitable for rough shooting, game shooting and even the odd bit of clay shooting too. The balance and handling are very good with a slight tendency to be a little barrel heavy which actually improves and maintains the swing on longer shots.
