Description
This is a Beretta S686 Special game gun with 28″ barrels choked at 1/4 & 1/2 – a gun made back in the late 80’s/early90’s but still a very popular and sought after model. Age isn’t an issue with this gun because Beretta have a deserved reputation for building strong, reliable and durable guns. This gun hasn’t been used that heavily over the years and remains in nice overall condition. The balance and handling are suited to local driven game, walked up or rough shooting.
The action on this S686 has scroll engraving and remains in good condition The woodwork has a few age related marks but nothing major – there is a slight split right at the base of the stock near the recoil pad, this isn’t going to cause an issue when using the gun and could easily be repaired if required. The barrels are clean inside and the external blueing is in decent condition although thinning a little at the muzzle where it has slid in and out of a gunslip over the years.
Part exchange welcome.
