Barry Simpson began shooting more than thirty years ago, he has a passion for game shooting particularly wood pigeon, which has been a lifetime quarry. In the 1980’s he was nominated for the Shooting Times “Top Eleven” game shots.
Barry’s many achievements in his competitive clay shooting career have included the following titles: World and European FITASC sporting champion, twice British sporting champion, English and British FITASC sporting champion and Classic sporting champion. He has represented England and Great Britain many times as a member of the Sporting and FITASC teams winning gold, silver and bronze medals.
In 1965 with his father Alan won the traditional Father & Son British Sporting Championship, and proudly repeated this in 1994 with his own son Paul.

Paul Simpson has over 30 years shooting experience as an allround clay, game and pigeon shot. His titles so far include European Junior Fitasc champion in 1996, twice English Open junior champion then as a senior he became the English Open sporting champion in 2005 winning it again in 2017, he became the Clay Shooting Classic Sporting champion in 2006 & 2017, became the Beretta World Sporting Champion in 2007, 2012 and 2018, became the British Open sporting Champion in 2009 and was Runner-up in the World Sporting Championships in 2010. He has won many County level titles as well as representing England and Great Britain on numerous occasions as both a junior and senior winning many team gold medals in the process.
