Description
This is a second hand Caesar Guerini Essex Limited 28ga Game with 30″ multi choke barrels – a good looking gun with a colour hardened scroll engraved side-plate action and attractive and well proportioned woodwork. It would make an ideal choice for shooting driven game either locally or for the higher birds around the country. The handling is fast enough to cope with local partridges but the solid top rib adds some weight to steady the swing on longer shots.
The overall condition is good – the action remains tight, the woodwork has a few small marks here and there (all of which could easily be removed by a gunsmith) and the barrels are clean inside and out. A longer wooden pad has been fitted taking the stock length to 15 1/2″ overall.
We have the original case and a set of 5 chokes with this gun.
