Description
This is a second hand Miroku 3800 Grade 5 Trap Gun with 32″ barrels choked 3/4 & FulL. These are great guns for DTL, ABT plus other international trap disciplines but they make equally suitable guns for shooting English Sporting clays too assuming you are in need of a slightly higher comb height. This is a good looking model with heavy scroll engraving and nicely figured grade 5 woodwork, the added density and weight of the woodwork really helps with the overall balance which is excellent.
This gun was made back in 1990, it appears to have seen a bit of use over the years but not excessive. The action has worn in opening and closing nicely, the woodwork is tidy – has been extended to finish at 15 3/4″ including a spacer and soft rubber recoil pad; the barrels are clean inside and out. This is a decent example of a 34 year old Miroku trap gun, a gun that has been cared for and one that has many more years shooting left in the action. It even comes in a Miroku plastic case.
