Description
This is a second hand Beretta 682 Gold E with 32″ multi choke barrels. It has seen a reasonable amount of use over the years the action is heading towards needing a service and tighten up (the top lever has come to the centre), the well figured factory left handed woodwork has the odd mark here and there – the stock has an old repaired crack. I am happy that the repair will hold for many years to come as long as the gun is transported to and from the shooting ground in the hard case. The barrels are clean inside and out.
The 682 Gold E has a proven track record for being a perfect choice for general clay shooting or for use as an out and out competition gun, the balance and handling is lively but there is enough weight in the gun to absorb some recoil on a busy day. The Optima (back bored) bore barrels are designed to allow- more pressure forwards resulting in reduced recoil. The barrels are vented to allow the barrels to cool quickly on a warm day. The stock is well proportioned and comes with a suitable palm swell which fits the hand comfortably giving the user greater control of the gun.
