Description
This is a second-hand Beretta Silver Pigeon S 12 gauge in field specification (6mm rib and autosafe) and 28” fixed choke barrels (choked at 1/4 & 1/2) – this is without doubt one of the most well know models out there. The Beretta action is known for its strength, durability and reliability and the overall gun is good looking and well finished. This gun would be a good choice to be used as an all-rounder being lightweight but well balanced with handling characteristics suited to driven game shooting, rough, pigeon or even clay shooting.
Made back in the late 2000’s the previous owner used the gun reasonably lightly indicated by the fact the top lever is still towards the right of centre – but there is still plenty of life left in the action.. The woodwork is in decent condition there are a few marks but nothing too serious. The barrels are clean internally, externally the blueing is in good order.
It comes with a 12 month warranty but unfortunately no plastic box.
