Description
This is a tidy AYA Yeoman Boxlock Non-ejector 12ga with 28″ barrels choked at 1/2 & Full. The overall condition is very good – the action is crisp and tight and retains much of the original colour hardening, the bores are clean and tidy without any marks and the external blueing is good too. The stock is in tidy condition, it is reasonably well figured for the grade and finishes at 14 3/4” overall.
This is a gun that would be a perfect choice for vermin control or rough shooting – the 2 3/4″ chambered barrels will comfortably handle a good range of lead loads up to 36gr, to be suitable for steel shot the full choke barrel would need to be opened up to 1/2 or less (roughly a £70 job).
