Description
This is a second hand Beretta 687 Silver Pigeon III 12ga game gun with 26” fixed choke barrels (fixed at 1/4 & 3/4) – a popular model from Beretta with attractive gamescene and scroll engraving and well figured woodwork. This is a gun that would make a great all rounder being suitable for rough shooting, game shooting and even the odd bit of clay shooting too. The balance is good and the handling is very lively, the gun weighs 7lb 2ozs without a huge amount of barrel weight so the front end is easy to get moving making it ideal for local driven partridge shooting.
The overall condition of this gun is very good. The action opens and closes freely having seen relatively light use over the years, the woodwork is nicely figured with a good colour and is in generally tidy condition apart from a few small marks here and there – the barrels are clean inside and out.
